silent studio, snowy slopes

This is what the studio looks like today--slightly disorganized and quiet.
With a winter advisory prediciting up to 10" of new snow being played over the radio, I'm designating it a health day and am hitting the slopes. No studio today.

Yesterday: I retook photos of new works, completed a painting, stretched some canvas. It's been a busy week! Four new paintings in final count--all of which I'll be taking to the Expo. I'll try to post these later tonight on my site.

I've received two wonderful comments via email and phone from folks in Las Vegas and Arizona that caught onto my website from some of the Expo marketing. Thanks so much for taking a look!

"Hello Brooke...
Wanted to drop you a note....
I received my ArtExpo newsletter and I am so glad I took a journey with you...it was a special treat. I enjoyed reading some of your notes and comment on your "blog"...what an adventure.." Jon www.wildgooseusa.com

So if you're out there and following along--don't be shy in dropping a note too! It's the inspiration that ignites my artwork and keeps me going.
